From May 2020 I have been working Full Time at Cycle Evolution, covering the same roles and tasks as previously but under more pressure to secure sales and provide excellent customer service which I have excelled in. In such uncertain times with the Coronovirus, me and my store manager have worked excellently and efficiently together in challenging circumstances to create record breaking figures month and after month and for the year as a whole. I have relished this increased responsibility, and it's only strengthened my skillsets with the cycle industry. On top of this, I have taken a leading role in designing and creating a consistent flow of social media posts on our Instagram to boost our engagement and make us stand out in the local area as one of East Anglia's Premier Road Bike stores.

Working across a variety of day-to-day activities in the cycle trade, this is a job role I enjoy and have benefited greatly from. Daily tasks vary from booking in orders, creating orders, direct to customer selling, business to business enquiries, shop floor merchandising, bicycle mechanic tasks, stock rotation, stock counting and social media scheduling.This is all based around the EPOS system - Citrus Lime - which I have a great understanding of and can use quickly and effectively to my advantage problem solve, pull specific information, refunds or returns and a whole host of day-to-day possibilities.Since employment, I have gained numerous skills and evolved tremendously in terms of confidence and maturity, something that I was keen to improve on after graduating from University. I would hope this role has stood me in good stead for future employees, gaining experience in face-to-face sales, business-to-business sales, customer relations and epos understanding.

Creating, designing and launching cutting edge Aerodynamic Cycling Socks and subsequent accessories for the performance orientated cycling apparel market. From origins of idea in October 2016, to sponsoring a UCI Continental professional cycling team in 2019, I was, as joint Company Director, involved in every step of the path to becoming one of the world’s leading Aerodynamic Cycling Clothing companies.Situated out of my bedroom, and still shipping stock worldwide from home up until January 2019 when we outsourced to a UK based distribution centre, it was a true hands on approach. With no formal business qualifications, it was an entrepreneurial spirit which allowed our Products and Brand to flourish, backed up by science and pin-point marketing via social media and athlete sponsorship, quickly seeing demand outstrip supply.Whilst working in this role and starting this new business I was also working in the bike shop which I think shows fantastic levels of self motivation, great time management, efficient problem solving and a desire to succeed which I believe are transferable skills in any new role which I would undertake in the future which would make me a valuable asset in any company.This was without doubt my greatest achievement to date, and looking back I am immensely proud of what was created, the contacts built and the life experience garnered.
