I collaborate with customers and other engineers on new projects and features across TTD's entire platform. I have led engineering efforts on several large projects to increase spend and satisfy customer requests for new functionality. I work in areas such as bidding, reporting, log processing, and the public API.

Manager and Scrum Master for the Infrastructure Development software engineering team. We build an internal platform responsible for managing The Trade Desk's complex production environment. Our platform allows us to release software quickly, respond to production problems, and get insights into our environment. We've scaled our platform from managing a few hundred machines, to now managing several thousand machines in both physical and virtual environments.

Led the Operations team's engineering efforts in building tools that made the team more efficient and effective. Designed and implemented a scalable, automated deployment system which greatly reduced the amount of time required to deploy, as well as reduced the amount of user interaction. Built tools used to automatically scale log processing, integrating AWS functionality with the operations platform and log processing stack. Re-used deployment functionality for many additional tools, including ad-hoc remote commands, windows updates, configuration management, and automated server reboots. Improved platform troubleshooting by pulling production alarm information into the operations platform, providing a single touchpoint to receive, diagnose, and solve issues.

Designed and implemented various features for new Benefits Administration software. Wrote automation solution in Python to solve the tedious and complicated process of benefits software setup and testing. Integrated Benefits software with Paylocity's WebPay, and with Paylocity's WebLink for partner integration. Refactored entire .NET solution to adapt new dependency injection model.

Linux firmware engineering including board bringup, u-boot customization, and utilization of the Yocto firmware platform. Developed features for current HP BladeSystem platform, and acted as a subject matter expert for the team.

Designed workflow for single sign-on between AlertLogic's product UI, internal LDAP, and SF customer portal. Designed software to integrate data between MySQL, LDAP, and the portal for customer support. Wrote tools which allowed the AlertLogic service desk to support customers on the new user authentication process. Supported AlertLogic's production environment.

Designed HP server management software for the VMware vCenter environment. Developed features such as real-time firmware update for ESXi and bare-metal OS deployment from within the vSphere environment. Worked with HP Storage division to develop a common framework for HP-VMware support.

Designed and implemented features for the HP BladeSystem Onboard Administrator firmware. Acted as team lead for the design and implementation of IPv6 support. Architected support for FlexFabric networking and other enterprise management software for the HP BladeSystem environment.

Completely redesigned the website for Emily Griffith Opportunity School. Added dynamic content which allowed potential students to better find course and schedule information. Automated the delivery of course and schedule information to the website, cutting the process time from several weeks to less than one hour. Highlighted school activities and courses online to attract potential students.
