The book, School for Startups, (www.SchoolforStartups.com) argues that entrepreneurship is not about risk, creativity or passion. Seventy-two percent of Americans wish they were entrepreneurs. The National Institute of Health and many other organizations have determined that wifi signals are harmful to the development of the human brain. France has banned wifi in primary schools. Bye Bye Wifi is a paint primer that blocks wifi, allowing parents to create a wifi-free zone in their house, a nursery safe for the baby's development. The patent is held by 6 of us. The product was created by 5 high school students (all part of the TYE program).

Raised about $700,000 through a combination of SBA loans (from State Bank and Trust) and equity. Worked for Steve de Haan, the founder of the 8 restaurants and bars in the District, the premiere entertainment area in Atlanta.

Taught International Entrepreneurship and International Business to Undergraduates, MBA and EMBA students. I was the highest ranked of 600 teachers for 12 straight semesters and won the Study Abroad Director of the Year award.

As part of an in-class experiment at Georgia State University, I created 6 lines of furniture. The furniture used traditional western building methods, but the fabric was antique kilim and Persian rugs, cut to shape. Very cool stuff.
