About James Beyioku

As a Project Manager at Grant County Economic Growth Council, I managed and executed various projects related to the organization's five pillars: Business Attraction, Business Retention and Expansion, Workforce Development, Entrepreneurship, and Collaboration. These projects included site submissions for statewide requests for the information, working with local businesses and municipal governments on incentives for expansion projects, and creating a job search video series to provide basic skills to job seekers in the community. As a Project Manager for Indiana Wesleyan University, I created and managed project plans for the development of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. I also ran individual meetings with Learning Experience Designers and Program Managers to troubleshoot issues with any of the projects and escalate any issues to the appropriate personnel. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management from Indiana Wesleyan University, where I graduated with Dean's List honors in three semesters. Along with project management, I have developed strong skills in communication, organization, and collaborative work. These skills, my education, and my varied work experiences have allowed me to become a resourceful and creative problem solver, who can always find multiple solutions to even the most complex problems. My working genius is wonder and enablement, which means I love to explore new possibilities and empower others to achieve them. All this to say, I am passionate about people and human creativity.
