• Designed and implemented new innovative ground support equipment necessary to reduce shuttle processing time, reducing schedule duration for tasks and reducing overall product labor costs
• Developed procedures for efficient implementation of customer requirements consistently looking for reducing lead times and processing errors while preparing hardware for flight
• Responsible for assessing and troubleshooting hardware discrepancies in a team environment often during hazardous operations while under schedule pressure
• Task Team Leader responsible for all personnel (both engineers and technicians) during hazardous flight hardware processing, this leadership role requires expert knowledge of hardware and exceptional communication skills
• Responsible for evaluation and application of hardware design changes assessing impacts to schedule, hardware and cost
