With over 25 years of experience in information security and a computer science background, I combine technical and legal expertise to help clients navigate the complex and evolving cyber and privacy landscape including cyber and technology law, digital transformation and strategy, cyber GRC, data protection and privacy law, data breach response, and cyber insurance. I have a track record of delivering effective and pragmatic solutions to clients of all sizes and industries, from proactively assessing and managing cyber and privacy risks, to developing and implementing best practice data protection policies and frameworks, to responding and recovering from cyber and data privacy incidents. I also work closely with cyber insurers and brokers to help them offer innovative and tailored cyber risk products and services to their clients. I hold advanced credentials in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), European data protection practice and law, and insurance law, as well being an IAPP Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP), Certified Information Privacy Professional / Europe (CIPP/E) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM). I am passionate about advancing the field of cyber and privacy law and regularly speak and write on topics related to data breach response, cyber, privacy and legal risks associated with emerging technologies such as AI, and the role of legal counsel in cyber risk prevention.
