Establish a global Go-to-Market capability aimed at rapidly accelerating new revenue streams and expanding into new client segments. Define the multi-year global planning framework for Visa on the back of pilots across 7 strategic markets. Build metrics and dashboards to measure and drive sales performance. Recruit and retain an international team of 14 across the US, Dubai, SouthAfrica, India, and Singapore.⫸ Design and implement new workstreams and planning tools to enable revenue diversification, pipeline management, and improved accountability for market teams.⫸ Shape the organizational structure to orient client-facing team members to their highest-growth opportunities rather than their functional silos.⫸ Own and overhaul Visa’s Salesforce CRM and Knowledge Management solution to underpin and accelerate these organizational changes.

Relocated to the US to lead global core product strategic initiatives, focusing on prepaid and debit products and later expanding to include global credit in September 2018. Aligned priorities with the matrix organization’s initiatives. Led a team of 4 staff. Launched a new solution targeting a new segment for Visa.⫸ Led team that designed and implemented treasury-based solutions for issuer clients, leveraging Visa's forex capabilities to provide competitive multi-currency retail products.

Owned planning, performance, and P&L for Visa’s Top-20 market, representing 0.6% of global Total Volume. Orchestrated all sales, marketing, and client activities and engaged extensively with regulators. Developed a high level of trust and reputation for credibility within the industry.⫸ Positioned South Africa internally as an ideal emerging market to launch Visa innovations, delivering successful launches for complex new solutions such as Visa Checkout, Visa Token Service, Visa Offers Platform, and Visa Digital Commerce App.⫸ Drove business transformation and brand positioning from a traditional product focus to a client-centric, highly customized approach.⫸ Sustained a high win rate on deals, growing Visa's client base across traditional and new client segments.

Developed and executed the country’s Go to Market strategy, enabling scalable growth by crisply framing opportunities, potential paths, roadblocks, and tradeoffs. Positioned Visa as a market leader by optimizing pricing, licensing, product delivery to match client needs. Led, managed, and motivated a team of 7+ direct reports.⫸ Tackled challenging, ambiguous questions with rigor and thought leadership, owning projects from problem definition to delivery.⫸ Leveraged market research, competitive intelligence, and trends.⫸ Evaluated white space business, product, and partnership opportunities in adjacent markets. ⫸ Served as key company representative with the South African Reserve Bank (the country’s monetary authority).
