FEA analysis using both Mechanica and Ansys software, including transient analysis of assemblies made up of composite orthotropic materials. Designed products from initial conception to mass production. Worked with many different Far East, European and American suppliers.Investigated/solved product issues and made design changes. Worked on technical drawings. Use Pro E/Creo and Mechanica (FEA) tools to analyse designs as well as using hand calculations.Used various material and product testing.

East Kilbride

Became familiar with Star CCM+ Computational Fluid Dynamics software. Used CFD to analyse current Linn amplifiers. Designed a heat sink which cooled all electrical components in the amplifiers passively, they had previously used fans for this task.
