President of the 135-member Grand Strand Chapter of the MIlitary Officers Association of America. GS MOAA is a non-profit charitable organization serving the needs of homeless, near homeless and disadvantaged veterans and their families across Northeastern South Carolina.

Retooled and refocused mission, vision and strategy of the chamber to become the fastest growing major business development and support organization in the state, becoming the second largest Chambers of Commerce in the State of Connecticut in just a few months. Managed, integrated and supported seven federated Chambers of Commerce in Bristol, Plymouth, Farmington, Plainville, Wolcott, Burlington and Bloomfield Connecticut along with two regional manufacturing associations and a statewide healthcare executives association. All told, grew business membership and representation dramatically from 1200 to over 1600 in two years and reversed decade-long financial and membership losses, while other chambers across the state and nation lost members and revenue. Developed dozens of innovative community development programs through new, enhanced marketing and branding relationships with local municipalities that shared public and private efforts and resources in order to improve regional and local economy and quality of life. Results were exceptional and put the Chamber in a more visible and positive light with the local communities it served, while growing and attracting dozens of millenials and young families to participate in chamber membership and programs. Responsible for over 150 B2B and B2C networking events per year, hundreds of legislative actions at city, state and federal levels, economic development and growth, groundbreaking workforce training programs to grow local manufacturing and professional trades sectors, increased visibility of business issues and business community, and better integration of business and community development efforts to improve the economic and quality of life across the region and state.

Also focused on meeting ARRA HITECH Meaningful Use of Healthcare Information Technology Stage 1 and 2 standards, implementing an Accountable Care Organization information flow, and converting data to business, financial and clinical information to help Jordan Hospital and its affiliated clinical offices provide the best possible patient care services in a coordinated and fiscally responsible fashion.

CIO and Director of Informatics for Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. Senior technology strategist and manager. Successfully implemented a health information exchange across Litchfield County Connecticut connecting the hospital with over 120 community-wide providers. Expert in all aspects of hospital information system development, implementation and operations. Modernized hospital-wide technology infrastructure and systems.

Helping MWIPA design and implement a Health Information Exchange (HIE) as well as various Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

Developed new healthcare strategy and enhanced growing healthcare consulting business line for major international consulting firm. Senior subject matter expert supporting wide variety of healthcare provider needs and services.

The first VP and CIO for newly consolidated corporate entity merging 7 organizations to create the largest post-acute and sub-acute healthcare company in the state and the largest Masonic-affiliated healthcare corporation in the country. Corporate divisions include the largest long term care facility in the state, the largest home health company in the state and the largest hospice provider in the state. Altogether, close to 2500 bed health system with 2,000 home health and hospice patients on service. Created new IT organization from ground up including all new systems, facilities, staff and service policies and procedures. Able to manage full corporate-wide IT function on less than 2% of corporate expense budget - one of the most efficient and effective in the industry. Staff satisfaction rates in excess of 95th percentile nationwide and customer satisfaction in the 90th percentile. Also consolidated all telephony and communications resources and brought cost of telecommunications function below 1% of company expense budget, saving in excess of $300,000 annually.

Implemented several new programs and events that led to chapter winning the national SIM award for fastest growing chapter. Also, brought chapter to a new level of financial stability, while increasing scholarships to inner-city high school students going on to college majoring in a field of technology.

Developed technology plans and strategy, managed 24/7 operations of extensive network and data center, led process and workflow improvement efforts, led integration of organization with large health network of hospitals across the state. Provided senior level financial and resource management to ensure electronic medical record (EMR) access by clinical and financial staff. Resolved longstanding legal issues with contracts, budgets and inventory.

Senior technology officer for various organizations across the Air Force including Special Assistant to the Office of the Secretary of Defense advising senior Pentagon and White House officials on research, development, testing and engineering of a wide variety of science and technology programs worth over $7 Billion. Also served as technology program manager for major global satellite systems, high performance supercomputer software applications, global computer system networks and several space technology systems.

Led 100-cadet strong detachment of Air Force officer candidates. Ensured proper training of cadet corps in leadership, management, drill and ceremonies, military tactics, Air Force history, organization, communications and other leadership and management traits. Prepared cadets for career as Air Force leaders and technical experts.
