I've worked at RPS for nearly four years now and have constantly been learning new skills and adapting to the changing working conditions resulting from the pandemic.After joining RPS I've worked as a Graduate Wastewater Modeller, Leakage Analyst and now as an Assistant Engineer.The titles of the roles I've worked under reflect the projects I've been working on during my time at the company. As a Modeller I worked with Welsh Water on updating models from sewer records in ICM for their Drainage and Wastewater Management, a pilot scheme using InfoAsset Manager and an investigation on inflow into several of their catchments.As a leakage analyst I worked to analyse lift and shift logger deployments for a client and support the project with excel based trackers and statistical analysis. I also did some data analysis in Excel.My time as an Assistant Engineer included my work as a GIS Modeller where I identified updates and inputted them into a client's ArcGIS database. I've spent a good amount of time acting as a coordinator on that project and several others. I'm currently coordinating surveys and services of pressure reducing valves using a custom Mapinfo workspace to plan the surveys, tailored online forms for the sites crew to use and Excel documents to track and analyse the work and any data received.Prior to my current role I have studied GIS, remote sensing, ecology, landscape management and architecture, geography and geology.
