I am currently the Service Lead for Community Protection. I have an excellent team and lead Business Continuity, Community Safety, Environmental Enforcement, Emergency Planning, Licensing and Trading Standards.While I have led on a number of areas of Covid response my focus is on continuous improvement and development of my core services and the continued best practice and innovative working within my teams.As a practical Emergency Planner I have taken every opportunity to increase my skill set and work consistently in a multi agency environment. I am EPC and MAGIC Strategically trained. I am an exceptional problem solver and work across a number of regulatory and commercial services. I thrive within fast paced project management and in dynamic situations while looking for the best outcome possible; although I am also able to reflect and draw out lessons learned to amend plans or behaviours. My key achievements are:- Instigating and managing the Environmental Enforcement Team - Designing and running a temporary rest facility (Covid)- Facilitating Test Facilities (Covid)- Designing and supporting an emergency response to Covid - Enforcement, Business Continuity and an involvement in everything in response - Making an active contribution to the Consequence Management Planning Team of a National Emergency Planning Exercise- Presenting the Authority’s journey and lessons learned on service level involvement in DR planning at the regional North Eastern ICT Partnership- Becoming a strategic adviser and trained tactical responder- Writing and facilitating multiagency Emergency Planning and Business Continuity Exercises-Improving each service area in which I have been involved.My goal is to have a fulfilling career within my current field, to add value with any employer or partner organisation.
