I take pride in my work. I am in charge of completing customers orders through the entire foundry process. This includes setting up patterns, moulding, pouring, and performing quality control. I enjoy working with my hands and solving problems, should they arise.

I am very detail-oriented and oversaw the Pattern Department at a busy foundry. I worked directly with the foundry supervisor to set up the schedule since my department is the first in line for fulfilling customer orders. The patterns I worked with are a mix of wood, aluminum, and various composite plastics. I have an analytical mind enjoy recalculating or modifying gating and risering for patterns in order to reduce or eliminate defects in the final product. I worked here until the day the business closed.

I worked as a welder using multiple types of welding techniques in a small family-run steel shop. I enjoy working with my hands and have operated many types of machinery needed in the fabrication process.

I worked with plastic resins and acrylics. It was here that I gained the skills to run a 3-axis CNC machine. This was rewarding as I enjoy the analytical thinking that was required in order to assist in the fabrication process and meet required deadlines.

I oversaw the manufacturing, assembling, and finishing of cabinet doors in a high-volume cabinet shop. I have advanced knowledge of materials, methods, and a variety of hand tools and machines that are used in the cabinet making process. It was here that I gained extensive knowledge and experience with solid-surface and laminate fabrication, finishing and installation.
