The task force released a final report comprised of actionable final recommendations. It also serves as a roadmap to remove barriers and create a more inclusive and equitable university for Black Concordians and community members.The final report is the culmination of two years of community consultations, interviews, archival research, literature reviews, town halls and stakeholder conversations with Concordia’s Black faculty, staff, students and alums. A steering committee, a leadership committee and six subcommittees completed the work. At a public launch in fall 2022, Concordia’s community, Montreal’s Black community, special guests, task force members and media gathered to celebrate the report launch and the university’s commitment to adopt the 88 recommendations.
