As Manager, Global Partnerships, my role involves supporting and overseeing the implementation of a portfolio of multi-country projects, supported through grants and strategic partnerships. Responsibilities include: facilitating negotiation of agreements; leading multi-functional teams to achieve successful project implementation and compliance with donor requirements; coordinating collaboration with diverse stakeholders to implement activities related to Program Finance, Program Development, Country Operations, and Monitoring/Evaluation/Research/Learning; supporting Country Office staff with preparing planning documents as well as narrative and financial reports; ensuring the promotion of best practices and lessons learnt; supporting the development of technical proposals and concept papers; developing program management tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of programming.

Students Offering Support is a national youth-driven organization focused on elevating education and igniting leaders. We operate student-run social enterprises at 25 campuses across Canada.Our Core Programs Include:- Exam Aids: delivering peer tutoring support, with a socially conscious twist. At each tutoring session we collect donations that provide funding for select charitable partners improving access to learning! Since 2004, we've supported over 100,000 students while raising over $2.5 million for NGO partners- Outreach Trips: allowing students in Canada and in our partner communities in Central America to connect for reciprocal cultural exchanges. Created and managed a successful socially-driven, small-business to help newcomers to Toronto have a more convenient, comfortable and affordable arrival by providing a one of a kind housing option. Included the creation and management of a seven-bedroom "shared house" providing medium-term furnished room rentals, as well as an online service to link newcomers with housing options in Toronto. The concept was born from striving to amplify the benefits of shared group living while simplifying the logistics of household management.

Worked as part of a small team to guide the transformation of a grant-funded community organization into a financially self-sustaining, technology-enabled, high-growth social enterprise. Responsibilities included:- Leading market research process with multiple segments of stakeholders to inform redevelopment of business model and associated online platform- Working with technology consultants and allies to determine platform needs, budgets, timelines, and parameters- Supporting internal consensus-building activities to strengthen buy-in for organizational transformation- Designing and delivering outreach campaign materials and building partnerships to recruit early adopter users

Studio Y is a program based in the MaRS Discovery District that brings together twenty five competitively selected young leaders (under age 29) from across Ontario for an eight-month, full-time program focused on personal mastery, 21st century skills development, project-based real-world experience and systems change leadership. As a member of the first cohort of Studio Y at the MaRS Discovery District, I focused on exploring the future of public sector innovation, civic innovation and community engagement.
