Following an 18 month period of working on an end to end delivery of a large project (delivering Xplan), for the Private Wealth Business Unit, the focus switched to working on a variety of projects across the multiple areas within 7IM. My focus - to gain maximum exposure to all parts of the core business strategy and projects, working with senior leaders to deliver change. Assisted in the delivery of a Governance review, acting as PM, followed by a Policy review in the same role. I was also involved an intense two months of work on the 7IM corporate annual strategy - thoroughly enjoying the experience and breadth of work - with main responsibility of holding the pen on the 200+ page pre-read document alongside strategy owners. My attention turned to assist and ultimately take over responsibility for the implementation, management and assessment of the 7IM Models. Including analysing existing processes, improving governance and documentation and suggesting efficiencies across the Proposition, Investment Management/Dealing and Sales teams. This was real value add work done and a pleasure to be involved with the wider teams. It was important to me to remain involved in the task of increasing awareness of governance and structure within the firm - PM'ing the build of an internal document vault.

After working on defining the proposition for the Private Wealth business; including family office team definition, segmentation, sales process mapping, competitor analysis etc. I found myself on a extended project to bring efficiency to the business unit, enabling more customer face time for staff and an improved client experience through a new practice management system implementation. My role was initially system design lead, integration lead and data migration lead - however I ended up managing through the latter two workstreams for 15 months - working with a small but dedicated team.
