A majority of my time is spent in three areas: investments, trading, and technology. As a portfolio manager and a member of our investment committee, I spearhead the collection of a wide range of investment research that makes it to the rest of the committee. Working with the IC, outside investment partners, as well as internally with advisors allows me to take the lead on optimization and maintenance of our trading workflow as the lead of trading operations. An increasing amount of my time is spent on everything technology and how the firm adapts with the wide range of technologies in the world going forward.

Austin, Texas Area

Much of my time at Strategic is spent working on long term business projects as well as leveraging knowledge from our parent company, Richard P Slaughter Associates Inc., to implement parallel or new work flows on the Strategic Investment side.

Lubbock, Texas Area

I handled primary vault duties for our downtown location which included taking in cash and giving out cash to the other tellers. I ordered money for the vault as well as balanced the vault on a daily basis. I took care of the ATM balancing and ATM cash needs as well as money orders/cashier checks and my own drawer. I assisted the other tellers at my branch with transactions as needed as well as provided protection to the bank on more difficult transactions in a supervisory roll. Assisted occasionally on saturday mornings when a supervisor was needed.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

My responsibilities included building new computers for new employees, providing employees the right software for their work, managing physical computer assets around the building, providing the technical support on office moves as well as new floor build outs. Also provided phone support when needed
