* Based on experience and exposure to the SCRUM framework supported and evangelized the adoption of SCRUM across several development teams.* Through the use of Visual Studio 2008 and TFS 2008, maintained and enhanced SCRUM Process templates and reports for multiple teams.* Developed and enhanced in-house tools to support development teams in their daily activities.* Lead and contributed to development team creating WCF Services for principle product(s).

* Through the use of Visual Studio 2008 IDE from Microsoft and writing software modules in C#, developed front-end web interfaces, back-end web-service modules and components for the latest version of a key product to be released to market. Aspects of development included, but was not limited to, Microsoft .Net 3.5, MSTest, Entity Framework and Windows Communication Foundation.* Based on previous industrial experience, developed, configured and maintained developer’s tools to assist and contribute to the work flow processes of colleagues. Included, but not limited to, preparation of Team Build projects, configuration of Team Foundation System Templates for use in Scrum based projects.* Re-designed and re-developed the build process to utilize a combination of NAnt, CruiseControl and a custom developed application to process project files from a multitude of technologies (VS 6.0, VS 2002, VS 2003, VS 2005and VS 2008).

* Using the .NET Visual Studio IDE from Microsoft and writing software modules in both C++ and C#, developed both front-end interfaces and back-end modules for the main product to market. Development included the use of C# 1.1 and 2.0, C++ ATL COM and VB 6.0.* Based on previous industrial experience, developed and maintained developer’s tools to assist and contribute to the work flow processes of colleagues. Included, but not limited to, custom tools written in C#.* Re-designed and re-developed the build process to utilise a combination of NAnt, CruiseControl and a custom developed application to process project files from a multitude of technologies (VS 6.0, VS 2002, VS 2003, VS 2005).* Performed duties as Software Project Manager and lead developer for a client facing group that produced custom modules on specification for various clients.

* Utilizing prior experience of working in several development teams and with extensive knowledge of .NET, ATL COM and UML design techniques, led a team of six software developers writing code in C#, Visual Basic, Java and PSQL for a Microsoft Excel based application for Deutsche Bank UK. The role of technical co-ordinator was interleaved with responsibilities in the team as a senior software developer, developing components in C# and Visual Basic.* As a principal member of a development team working for Deutsche Bank UK, re-developed and deployed various .NET smart clients using Visual Studio .NET 2003, NAnt build process, the CruiseControl continuous automated build process and NUnit test processes. Development included, but not limited to Excel Add-Ins written in C# connected to BEA Weblogic web service (J2EE).* Through investigation and knowledge gained from developing .NET client based applications, tasked with developing an in-house .NET course for Java developers. The primary goal of the course was to provide a means of re-training existing personnel for future projects based on the .NET technology from Microsoft.

* Using the .NET Visual Studio IDE from Microsoft and writing software modules in both C++ and C#, developed both front-end interfaces and back-end modules for the latest products to be released to market.* Developed Excel RealTime Data modules using ATL COM and a combination of C++ and Visual Basic to produce a set of software modules that provide Excel and Visual Basic based financial trading solutions.

* Using the Eclipse IDE from IBM, the Sun JDK 2 compiler and runtime engine and Sybase’s own UML design package PowerDesigner, developed the messaging engine for the Sybase Integration Orchestrator. * Engineered components in C++ ATL COM that formed part of the overall data structure within the messaging system. Development effort included, but was not limited to, production of XML Schemas to be used within messaging engine.* To add a further dimension to the marketability of the product over competitors, developed a set of COM based components, using UML, Visual C++ and Visual Basic that facilitated the import and export of XML documents, XML-DR Schemas, W3C Schemas and DTDs into the native data format of the e-Biz 2000 templates. * Previous expertise in fault finding and problem solving played a major part in optimizing the existing code for the message engine of e-Biz 2000, thereby minimizing the memory leaks that were present in the application.

* Following training of the specification language UML and use of Visual C++ and Visual Basic, designed, implemented and tested a COM based component that provided software control of a range of recording hardware products. This formed the basis upon which several disparate recorders could be controlled by a homogenous software application.* The investigation of Hot-Swap capabilities facilitated the development of COM, MFC and Win32 based applications that could monitor, configure and control the Computer Telephony components through both GUI and Windows NT services. These applications were then used to provide evidence of the viability of marketing the recording server as having Hot-Swap capabilities.* To assist senior developers with the software life cycles of their components, developed several automated test harnesses, which produced reports on the success or failure of COM interfaces as well as functional requirements of the components themselves. This provided a constant indication of the stability of the components during their various stages of development.
