From childhood I wanted to be a writer and got ready to go to school and work on an English degree in creative writing, till one day in my Junior year of High School, my father took me aside and told me that living in the Silicon Valley I should go into electronics. After all I liked playing with my Radio Shack Circuit board and building circuits.Though I still write, having self-published six novels, four of which are about a Silicon Valley Private Investigator, I have enjoyed my challenging career in Test Engineering. I always tell everyone that in test engineering we are searchers of the truth. What does the part do? What is the cause of the failure? How do we fix this? How do we create a test to weed out other such anomalies?Even better I was awarded the privilege to manage a development team of highly skilled Engineers and Technicians in releasing new products. It gave me the chance to engage with New Product Introductions in a different way, understanding the choices of testers and test sites and how they affect Full Factory Costs and the overall profitability of the company. Managing projects to market release, dealing with specific customer requests. Best of all, working with a team of professionals, all with their own personalities and abilities and finding the best positions for each to play, much like the coach of a Major League Baseball team.Root Cause Analysis & Issue Resolution | Detail Oriented | Clear Communication | Product Development Test Plans Reliability Testing | Test Automation | Testing Procedures | QA | Documentation | Continuous Improvement | LTX | Eagle Test Systems (ETS364) | OrCad Schematic Capture | Oscilloscopes | Digital Voltmeter (DVM)
