I am a recent college graduate from the State University of New York at New Paltz with a BA in Political Science. My primary concentration of study was American Politics, American Political Thought, Legislative/Executive Politics and Constitutional Law. I'm seeking to enter into a career in Politics and Public Policy. I am currently an Full-Time AmeriCorps VISTA member with the Virginia Housing Alliance, working out of Charlottesville, VA. Together with state and national partners, we strive to end homelessness and enhance Virginia's homelessness response system by promoting evidence-based best practices, building strategic partnerships throughout the region, improving data quality and use in decision making and much more.Generally speaking, I strive for a long career in advancing the interests of those who have been left behind, those who are treated harshly, those who are poor and cannot fulfill the basic necessities of life. I'm looking for a political/policy oriented career that works to advance some of these goals and more.
