After several years of working in hostile environments I have decided to take a break from working within the medical and military sphere to focus on challenges important to me. As part of this I will be creating new businesses in Egypt, my home base for several years, which will hopefully create jobs and encourage recycling. My main task will be to identify resources in the country that can create products for the export market. Egypt has an amazing potential to replace China as an industrial hub in both manpower, resources, and location, and even through these troubling times it has the chance to be strong. I intend to be part of that.

Implimentation of ‘Books in Barracks’ Which was a scheme to place recycled books into the living accommodation of Soldiers to give them more access to literacy..I sourced the donations and supply the sites where the books are required, whilst at the same time liaising between Brigade HQ, Quartermaster departments of units and regiments, and civilian donors to the project. It is a uniformed role working on behalf of the British Army. Interaction was at a OF3 Level, Captain with direct interaction to staff officers and overseen by the Brigadier.

I served in the British Army Reserves before leaving for family reasons. I volunteered weekends and 2 weeks a year and trained in the role of Combat Medical Technician. In a deployed role I was attached to an infantry element to be responsible for the first line of medical care during and directly after a battle. I also performed FTRS working for our brigade as a civil military coordinator.

I wrote a series of articles on travel across europe on a QUAD bike, quadding in Canada, and Egypt.

Responsible for creating the vision that was the St Leonard wind farm site, NB. My job was to liaise with professionals to complete the research and survey for the site, engineering, and sourcing of equipment in order to secure the Power Purchase Agreement with NB power. Unfortunately the Director went bankrupt in the final stages of the project, so it was never realized. Had it been constructed, I would have managed to personally co-ordinate the first small generation wind farm in the Province of New Brunswick.
