Reporting to the Head of HR – Commercial, the role is a key member of the Commercial Leadership Team. Providing strategic partnership to the New Business, National Accounts, Corporate Solutions, Marketing and Commercial Planning Divisions.• Developing a robust and effective People Plan for each Division with specific focus on Engagement Survey feedback ensuring the plan is aligned to Company values. • Lead on organisational structural changes ensuring the Divisions a set up best to capitalise on Commercial activity and grow Sales through Sector expertise and operating within the sweet spot of the Market. • Coach and mentor senior leaders playing a pivotal role in the development of Line Management capability focusing on all HR matters in order to create a high-performance culture. • Lead the Commercial virtual HR team combining subject matter experts from the Centre of excellence, L&D, Resourcing and Reward specialists to ensure all Commercial activities and plans are supported.• In collaboration with the L&D Team support the Talent Management process including development plans, top talent program, Performance review cycles and succession planning.

The generalist HR role manages the HR Function across 2 manufactuirng units as part of the site Senior Management team. The role supports the day to day site management of the HR function whilst delivering strategic HR work packages required to support and drive business performance. Has a proven track record in delivering improved employee engagement, reduced absence costs through policy innovation, reduced cost recruitment, successful employee relations in a Unionised environment and learning and development initiatives.

The role involved providing an effective HR functional resource which provides professional guidance, support and input to site management in matters relating to unit personnel policies/procedures; employment legislation; employee relations, recruitment, performance management, health and safety and training and development.

Provided an effective and professional administrative support to the personnel function with the primary focus on the provision of support for employee relation cases and absence management.
