He was always either the first person I would go to with a question, because I knew he could help, or the last person to go to, because he would always have an answer when others didn't. He was also known to bring in some delicious home made cakes from time to time, which was just what the team needed to give us a boost on our busy days. In fact, whenever I join a new team my first order of business is to always find the "James" in the group (though of course he is one of a kind).
