Founded a Water and Development Organization that focuses on bringing catalyst resources at the community level through relationship with local leaders in Uganda. Built the organization from the ground up to achieve million dollar impact and partnerships spanning grassroots, organizations, corporate partners, and government stakeholders. We mobilize individuals and groups here in the US to engage in their part of global community and help provide resources that will empower communities to find freedom from the grip of poverty. Easily the hardest and best job ever.With water projects in over 900 locations across Uganda - UWP implements the best available versions of community water projects and provides support for sustainability.

Responsible for all booking, logistics and production for a Provided practical oversight and management of the back-end office for a faith based organization that used contemporary music and teaching to encourage and develop healthy local churches in the northeast US. Managed budgets, established policies and enforced standards for the organization. Responsible for all planning and logistics. Supervised the set-up and tear-down of Audio, and Lighting equipment by volunteer crews. Mixed Live Audio and Lighting Design for events in wide variety of venues. Purchased, maintained and repaired equipment as needed. Interfaced with production companies for large scale events ensuring the provision of needed stage, set, rigging, lights, video and audio needs. Worked in partnership with the Director to implement vision for the ministry.

Worked in support of Mary Kay Sales Director to develop independent sales force of over 130 consultants across 21 states. Provided training and incentives for sales force. Assisted in sales and recruitment goal tracking. Assisted in direct sales to a local base of 150 customers. Carried out general office functions and communications support for sales unit. Playedan integral leadership role in achieving $300,000 in sales the first year and an average of $500,000 in sales the two following years.

Pioneered a major transition towards multimedia and environmental communication for a 700+ church in the Rochester, NY market. Worked to bring professional production standards to the technical execution of traditional services. Explored creative ways to bring messaging into the sound, lighting, and set design for weekend gatherings and special events. Produced Sunday services- coordinating all technical elements toward set objectives. Successfully developed a volunteer team of technicians.

Lead a college bookstore through its initial Outsourcing Transition including the specific challenges of retaining existing staff, establishing trust and a strong working relationship with college faculty and administration, and a total store renovation. Successfully liquidated inventory liabilities, aggressively enforced accurate JIT inventory strategy, successfully restored faculty trust that was long-lost from previous management. Responsible for operating expense reductions in key areas as well as retail sales increases for total sales in excess of $850,000.

Responsible for all buying decisions in winery gift shop, vineyard supplies, office and janitorial supplies. Increased non-wine retail sales a shocking 42% during my tenure. Explored synergistic purchasing opportunities resulting in cost savings and vendor loyalty. Managed a “blank-check” discretionary budget of over $300,000. Attended trade shows and visited manufacturing facilities and negotiated with vendors for needed goods and services to meet quality and price expectations. Oversaw all shipping/receiving for facility where a significant cost savings was seen. Assisted in various special projects focusing on decreasing cost, increasing efficiency, and building wholesale distribution loyalty.
