Vice President, Retirement Business Development
CurrentFormulate and execute business plan strategies around new business acquisitions in corporate and tax-exempt retirement plan markets, fostering Advisor, Consultant and RIA relationships.Establish, strengthen and maintain strategic relationships through proactive and ongoing contact. Responsible for uncovering new opportunities in K-12 and adjacent markets.Manage a robust pipeline of activities and proposals, accurately forecasting retirement new business, enrollments in K-12 and overall retirement revenue growth.Conduct numerous webinars with advisors/consultants and distribution partners on industry and regulatory topics important to corporate and tax-exempt customersPartner with Horace Mann's marketing team in developing marketing differentiators for Horace Mann business and business on Benefit Consultants Group's open architecture platform.Promote brand, service model, product offering and administrative capabilities through cultivated key account relationships with advisor groups, third party administrators and other distribution partners. Collaborate with Regional and Senior Leadership in the development and delivery of the right services and solutions to advisors/consultants and their clients.Monitor and track competitor activity, provide market intelligence, ensuring that appropriate strategies are formulated, communicated and implemented into pricing model and distribution strategy.
