Developer for Rational Jazz Foundation (core component of Jazz Team Server/Rational Team Concert). Owned the following components: User Registry, Server Rename, Online Migration, REST API.Provided level 3 support to a large number of corporate customers with consistent success in providing satisfied users.Project lead for 'Juno Cloud API', an IBM community source library used by 30+ products worldwide throughout IBM as a unified and superior replacement for JSON4J, Jackson, JAXB, and JAX-RS. Consists of a universal, high-performance serialization/parsing API for Java that allows arbitrary POJOs to be marshalled to JSON, HTML, XML, URL-Encoding, RDF/XML, N-Tuple, N3, and Turtle using very little code. Includes a servlet-based REST API that allows REST interfaces to be built against existing POJOs, and provides self-documenting interfaces that can be accessed using nothing more than a regular internet browser. Project uses Agile methodology with a fully automated release process that can create, test, and release new versions in a matter of minutes. Project is regularly listed as the 2nd most popular community source project in IBM.Consistently ranked in top 80% percentile throughout career at IBM. Highest rating possible of '1' in 2014.

Developer for Rational Asset Analyzer. Owned all aspects of J2EE scanning for RAA. Designed and owned both theweb-based and Eclipse based user interfaces. Provided level 2 support for several corporate customers. Served asinstructor at several Teach-the-Teachers education sessions. Served as mentor for several co-ops and new hires. Ledthe development activities of a new hire.Accomplishments include: · Designed, developed, and owned a new use-case driven web-based user interface based on Jazz Web UI, Dojo, Restlet, and OSGi technology. Included development of a user-customizable drag-and-drop dashboard framework. · Designed and developed 'JJSON', a complete Java library for parsing and serializing JSON text to and from standard Java Collections Framework objects. Included an API for performing REST operations on JSON models, allowing them to be used as a simple schema-less database for arbitrary hierarchical data. · Designed and developed a thread pool and work queue manager for executing long-running synchronous and asynchronous units of work in a J2EE environment in order to improve performance and scalability in RAA. Designed to take advantage of J2EE asynchronous beans in environments that support it. The design also included additions to the web interface for viewing the status of and interacting with the work queue consistent with the design of the rest of the product.

July 2003 ­ June 2006Developer for WebSphere Studio Asset Analyzer.Served as the technical liaison with the Haifa Israel research lab. Oversaw and improved upon the nightly build processin a mixed workstation and z/OS environment. Designed and implemented automated function, install, and regressiontesting. Designed, created, and owned the product installation program using InstallShield. Designed, created, andowned a new web-based user interface. Provided level 2 support for many corporate customers.Accomplishments include: · Designed and developed a highly flexible search engine and user interface over an existing DB2 database that allowed the product to quickly add support for additional programming languages and artifacts. · Designed and developed 'custom-query' functionality in WSAA, which solved a common customer issue of wanting additional functionality not readily accessible through the UI. The custom query support allowed them to define their own fully-functional query pages through a simple-to-use wizard interface. Additionally, added the ability to export and import these definitions through the user interface so that an online repository of useful custom queries could be maintained and be easily accessible. These features became valuable selling points for the product, and have been viewed as extremely useful to the technical sales people in helping clients customize the product to suite their needs.

Software developer for Asset Locator and WebSphere Studio Asset Analyzer. Served as the technical liaison with theHaifa research lab. Primarily duties included incorporating research code into WSAA, and building upon the web-basedinterface.
