Associate Governmental Program Analyst
Current• Design, develop and implement educational workshops, webinars, and educational materials to promote CalSTRS benefits, retirement planning and personal finance.• Manage marketing campaigns in collaboration with internal and external partners, stakeholders, and staff which have quadrupled workshop and webinar registrations and attendance since the beginning of 2020.• Calculate retirement estimates and research members’ accounts to identify any ways of improving their financial future, before discussing their options in-person, on the phone, or video call.• Present workshops, webinars, and conduct one-on-one and group retirement planning sessions.• Research, manage and analyze complex data to build metrics and develop reports for presentations, marketing materials, and marketing budget reports.• Assist CalSTRS 403(b) retirement staff in preparing reports for the Investment Committee and consultants.• Work closely with graphic designers to make sure marketing efforts are diversified enough to enhance market reach for a various media (email blasts, printed materials, social media, and YouTube).• Analyze and interpret quarterly financial reports of investments in the CalSTRS 403(b) plan, and determine which investments should be held, put on the watch list, or be sold and removed.• Use B2C marketing strategies to increase supplemental retirement savings by California teachers by over one billion dollars, doubling the amount from when I started.
