RIPE is a coalition of agricultural trade association representatives advancing a national dialogue for bipartisan, comprehensive, common-sense climate policy that invests in rural America by enabling farmers to earn a fair & profitable return from voluntary stewardship practices that deliver tremendous public & environmental value. As Agricultural Outreach Director, I am charged with identifying, recruiting, and supporting a diverse coalition of agricultural associations in an inclusive engagement process that will lead to an equitable policy for all farmers and ranchers.

My primary role with the Policy and Government Affairs team was to analyze the operationalization of results-based payments for REDD+ in support of a consultancy report. I researched multi- and bilateral finance projects for comparison with the GCF, including the policies and practices of the FCPF’s Carbon Fund, NICFI, the BioCarbon Fund’s ISFL, and Germany’s REM Program. I also constructed a comparison matrix of Intended Nationally-Determined Contributions for all submitting countries in support of the WWF-US Forest and Climate Program.

With the Counter-Insurgency Targeting Program, I led 32 social network analysts working in Iraq and Afghanistan, overseeing the design, planning, and development of network analysis projects. I supported analysts with adaptive management as well as analytical and operational troubleshooting. I also trained and coached analysts on policies, procedures, and resources. I published over 200 network studies, represented CITP at intelligence meetings, and provided strategic and technical guidance to US military leaders.

During my time with a Joint Special Operations Task Force in Iraq, I led an international team of more than 50 intelligence collectors and 20 native Arabic interpreters from Egypt, Iraq, and Jordan. I oversaw strategy, planning and development of intelligence collection and reporting in coordination with partners throughout the intelligence community, ensuring compliance with international, US and Iraqi laws. I reviewed, edited and published over 1,700 intelligence reports during the 15-month deployment, and represented the collection team at over 400 intelligence briefings.
