In this role, I specialise in translating visually appealing designs into fully functional, responsive, and high-performing websites. I collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and clients to transform design concepts into interactive web experiences. Using Elementor and WordPress, I streamline the development process, creating custom themes and pages that are both user friendly and optimised for performance.Key responsibilities:- Developing and customising websites using Elementor and WordPress, translating design prototypes into dynamic, functional web applications.- Ensuring responsive design across devices, implementing mobile-first development strategies to enhance user experience.- Leveraging Elementor’s tools to build custom widgets, animations, and advanced layouts that align with design specifications.- Conducting testing, debugging, and optimisation to enhance website speed, SEO performance, and security.- Collaborating with teams to meet project deadlines and ensure consistent communication with stakeholders.Through this role, I have honed my skills in web design, UI/UX best practices, and coding, while delivering engaging and effective digital solutions.

This was a twelve week intensive course that consisted of daily stand ups, lectures, workshops, pair coding, daily homework and four projects (detailed below). It covered the fundamentals of web development, leading to building full stack applications.Poxymon | 9 days | SoloMy final project is a full-stack application built with Django and React where users can create monsters for battling. Main achievements: Fully functioning Python/Django back end with many models and relationships; data linked to and stored on Neon; tracking data with Django admin and TablePlus. I also installed all of the React features detailed in the projects below.Vinous Voyages I 9 days I Group (3)My third project is a full-stack MERN application where users can learn about wineries around the world. I was responsible for building much of the client side content and functionality in React: setting up React Router; fetching data from our API using Axios; creating action and loader functions to give registered users full CRUD capabilities; setting, removing and decoding JSON Web Tokens in local storage; creating search filters.Harry Potter Character Index I 2 days | Group (2)My second project is a multi-component React application that consumes the Harry Potter API, so users can discover information about the characters and spells. My main achievements: creating most of the styling using Sass, Bootstrap and React Bootstrap; creating a menu modal; styling changes based on API data; combining search and dropdown filters into one state variable and function; loading spinner.Kingdom Hearts Frogger Game I 7 days | SoloMy first project from my SEI training is a frogger type game utilising only HTML, CSS and plain JavaScript. Key achievements/learning: control flow; organised code; writing comments; creating global variables; writing and structuring complex if/else, setInterval and forEach functions. Also, I created a simultaneous two player mode (well beyond the requirements).

- Taught English, computing, history and PSHE to years 3 and 5.- Digital Lead: this involved planning the computing curriculum across the entire school, proposing technological innovation that would improve classroom learning and supporting/tracking teachers’ computing learning.

- Taught all subjects to years 3 and 4.- Maths Lead: this involved maintaining/improving the school's maths curriculum, and meeting regularly with other maths leads to improve maths learning across the academy through events and analysis.- Growth Mindset Champion: this involved training teachers, staff and parents in growth mindset, and providing regular updates and innovations to improve growth mindset throughout the school.
