I currently work at Alton Towers under the Merlin Entertainments Brand where I work as a Technical Events Team Leader. I work on all new projects whilst ensuring day to day operations run smoothly within our exciting and diverse seasonal events.I’m very passionate about projects in their initial processes from concept all the way through to delivery taking both the creative and practical aspects equal consideration. Whether it be reviewing audio or visual content, arranging demos, quotes, purchasing of equipment to ensure quality and price or sitting in on rehearsals to ensure the brief is being met in what we are producing. One of the achievements I am most proud of was the Dragon Slayer show at Warwick Castle where I held the role of production manager. We took a local Warwick Story and turned into a 2 part production starting as a jousting performance and ending in a projection mapped extravaganza on the historic walls of the castle itself including fire effects and a firework accompaniment in its first year it was critically acclaimed and compared by guests as the very best family entertainment show they have seen in the UK. I love being involved in all projects from the initial stages as I believe it ensures you stay true to the brief throughout and it’s also a lot more rewarding when you reach the point of fruition.
