Seasoned software industry executive and board member with over 25 years of experience. Held senior management positions at industry leading firms including BEA Systems (acquired by Oracle in 2008) and SAP, as well as startups that were later acquired or went public. Areas of experience and expertise include product management, product marketing, consulting, sales and operations. Held dual roles as COO and CMO of WANdisco. Responsible for the company's overall operational management, including oversight of marketing, product management, finance, human resources, and corporate legal affairs. Assisted in the design of new products and services and managed their incubation and rollout. During this period the company went from being a privately held and funded entity to becoming publicly listed on the London Stock Exchange in June, 2012. Following WANdisco's highly successful IPO, served on the company's board as an executive director.As CMO, responsibilities included developing company and product positioning and messaging, defining go-to-market strategies, identifying target verticals, and building marketing campaigns and sales tools to address them. Established the company's demand generation function, including setup of Marketo marketing automation software and its integration with Salesforce.com. Responsibilities as COO included negotiating and managing the acquisition and integration of new products and companies. These acquisitions included the SmartSVN product in an asset purchase from Syntevo GmbH in September, 2012, as well as the acquisition of privately held Silicon Valley startup Altostor in November, 2012, which enabled the company to enter the big data market. Played an instrumental role in securing an OEM with IBM (the company's first) for WANdisco Fusion, rebranded as IBM Big Replicate.
