We work with partners across California - creating labor, land use, infrastructure, and political solutions that truly bring people together.As a Senior Planner, I’m responsible for project managing several land use projects and programs leading Somos team members. Projects and responsibilities involve providing land use assessments and due diligence, analyzing project documents and spotting issues to ensure compliance with regulators, and synthesizing ideas and research into meaningful outputs and solutions. As a senior member of the Somos team, I coordinate with leadership in providing advice to clients on the development process, including site acquisition, land use analysis, design, entitlements, and environmental review. I also manage client relations and conduct business development for projects that Somos can champion based on our mission and expertise.

Over 5,000 members are strong, the California Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA California) is a network of practicing planners, citizens, and elected officials committed to urban, suburban, regional, and rural planning within the state. APA California offers a wide spectrum of member benefits, including information, services, and support to advance planning in California.As Vice President of Administration, I coordinate and oversee the financial and administrative activities of the Chapter by maintaining the general fund and accounts, providing the Board of Directors with income and expenditures reports, preparing and submitting a year-end financial report and budget, conducting long-range forecasting and programming in cooperate of Chapter staff, and prepare an annual Chapter report.
