EH Smith are implementing Kerridge Commerical Systems' K8 ERP solution and my role is to work with the Systems Project Manager to help ensure a successful implementation by July 2018. I am the Lead for the Business Intelligence and Management Information (BI/MI) Stream and responsible for creating a new Reporting Catalogue within K8. This involves reviewing the existing reporting landscape and specifying the suite of reports to be delivered in the new K8 ERP system by designing detailed report specifications that will deliver approved reporting and visualisation solutions that meet the given business requirements. As the Senior Business Analyst i am responsible for any future Strategic development initiatives with the chosen ERP Partner and other key IT suppliers, such as Electronic Supplier Invoice Processing and Counter PDQ Card Machine Integration.

My role is to act as the lead Business Analyst on major business change & transformation projects, working closely within a Project framework with various stakeholders to deliver identified business benefits. I am responsible for defining robust, viable solutions that often involve highly complex elements. Whilst i retain strong analytical skills for gathering and documenting business/data requirements, as well as process mapping (BPMN/UML), I am now directly responsible for ensuring the succesful end-to-end implentation of solutions and systems which form part of the deliverables of major business Projects and Change Initiatives. Therefore, I am adept at managing every aspect of the Software Delivery Lifecycle all the way through testing to implementation and handover to BAU. Calor operate a mixed methodology approach across their programme of projects so i am familiar with traditional development approaches but am also comfortable working in an AGILE environment.I am currently responsible for leading a Situation Assessment of Calor's Engineering division with a view to defining a 5 year Demand Strategy that will ensure the IT function can support the division through a transformation programme that will ensure it supports Calor's stated strategic objectives over the period. Leading this initiative requires a good level of commercial awareness and appreciation of key business issues along with the confidence to manage and handle the expectations of Executive level stakeholders.In this role I have delivered major transformation projects involving highly complex solutions such as; ERP (Oracle EnterpriseOne), CRM (WiRE), Dynamic Scheduling (Oracle Real Time Scheduling), Middleware Integration (TIBCO),Mobile Worker Workflow (Cognito - Smartworker)

The role was to help deliver IT solutions appropriate to business needs with a focus on developing applications within Oracle's ERP Solution, Enterprise One. I worked with a variety of stakeholders and representatives from the business to illicit and analyse requirements, then work with either internal or 3rd party development teams to transform those requirements into robust technical specifications. Ultimately I delivered deployed solutions that added value to business processes. I was involved at every stage of the Software Development Lifecycle from the initial requirements gathering phase through to the planning of testing, writing of test cases/scripts and management of Systems Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing. Calor have multiple solutions deployed across a variety of business functions which made it crucial to understand, and manage, the impact of changes upon the interfaces and integration between these different systems. Projects that I am helping to deliver covered a wide range of areas from Automated Cash Allocation to Mobile Workforce Field Solutions requiring me to quickly adapt to new technologies, processes and disciplines.

I was responsible for Specification, Design and Delivery of Excel based reporting tools for internal and external customers, including automation through VBA macros. This involved gathering requirements from report owner(s) and stakeholders, liaising with End users to understand the core business objectives and delivering completed tool along with documentation and E-Learning package. The role was to support the development and maintenance of customer strategies that support the Strategic Account Managers to deliver timely, value added solutions through data analysis, report creation and detailing of recommended actions. Utilising Cognos Business Intelligence tools to capture and manipulate corporate data as well as writing SQL queries for IBM and Access databases, my goal was to help drive Strategic decision making and planning through the clear presentation of business data.

As Operations Executive my role encompassed both Project Management and Business Analyst functions focused on RTC's ERP & CRM system provided by Bond International Software. I prepared Business Cases for proposed improvements to the CRM & ERP system and, when approved, was responsible for As-Is/To-Be Process Mapping, Requirements Gathering, Stakeholder Management and the preparation of the solution Specification document to be handed to the development team. It was my responsibility to ensure the successful implementation of projects through management of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as well as conducting training workshops, preparing training documentation and e-learning packages. Ultimately i was responsible for the entire project life cycle ensuring that projects were delivered on time and to budget.
