AXA Life Invest designs, manufactures, delivers and distributes unit linked investments with guarantees.My role at ALI was to lead internally specific propositions, and support others, from conception to launch in the unit linked guarantee sector, working alongside the AXA Life Invest teams and with the Group, or external partners.I had both an internal and external focus, which meant that alongside my design / development focus I also had a responsibility to promote unit linked investment with guarantees to potential business partners.Following a strategic review, ALI closed to new business in November 2016.

In my final role at Legal & General I had a responsibility for the design, development and delivery of Legal & General’s range of structured solutions. From paper level design up of the product set, including both structured investments and deposits. This meant involvement in product governance, including the product lifecycle model and oversight committee. Key account relationship responsibility with the largest of L&G’s IFA structured solutions clients, presentation preparation and delivery, master classes & round tables. I was Press spokesperson at group level for structured products, including all media, and in addition acted as L&G representative on trade bodies such as TISA and UKSPA dealing with structured products which included liaison internally and externally on regulatory matters with FSA/FCA and HMT.
