Originally from California, I joined the Army in 2000 and served as an Intelligence Analyst until my medical retirement in 2006. During my service I had the opportunity to serve overseas in South Korea and Iraq and worked at the Army Intelligence School developing and implementing training for new soldiers and officers.Since the army, I have worked in retail management and loss prevention, human resources and acquisitions. During each of those opportunities I focused on different stages of business and developed a deep understanding of how each department is reliant on the other. My love is human resources; with a caring and well trained staff supporting their employees organizations can thrive.I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Organizational Leadership from St. Petersburg College, a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of South Florida… GO BULLS; and I am "all but dissertation" for my Doctorate in Business Administration (Organizational Development & Design) through Johnson & Wales University here in Rhode Island. My research is currently focused on innovation levels within organizations focused on the undersea domain.
