PaperboyNew Haven Register 1982 - 1986My first job. These were the days when you had to actually go door-to-door every week and collect money from your customers. I remember going out collecting in the winter...dark...freezing. They provided you with this book of payment tabs for each customer, and my hands would get so cold I could hardly rip off the tickets. The toughest part was knowing that someone was home, but they wouldn't answer the door. Every job got easier after this one, but I do have some fond memories as well.
