As an operator, he was a motorcade driver (chase driver), advance team leader where he led 30 agents to protect a high value target in Iraq, and close protection agent.Mr. Claggion is a highly decorated former military police officer in the United States Navy. During his service, he was also a Harbor Patrol Officer, Protective Service Agent, physical security specialist, team leader for counter surveillance team and firearms instructor. During his service, he was awarded the Navy Medal of Achievement, Joint Service Commendation for Meritorious Service for the Armed Forces of the United States in the protection of the lead US admin for southern IRAQ, and Joint Service Achievement medal for completing 35 protective services missions in the CENTCOMM Area of Responsibility. He received letters of commendation from the Director of NCIS and CENTCOMM.Mr. Claggion is certified and trained as an instructor in law enforcement, firearms, and executive protection. He started his training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Artesia, New Mexico where he completed the NCIS Protective Operations Training Program. He also completed 189 hours of Police Academy training for the Department of Defense as well as training in law enforcement tactics VIP Protection, and defensive tactics.
