I am passionate about building... anything. It's a lifelong passion that spans both my professional career — where I've built products, teams and now actual buildings — as well as recreational pursuits, where I've built veggie-oil-fueled pickup trucks and high altitude weather balloons (to name a few).I'm also a skilled manager, and I love player/coach roles that have a hands-on aspect, but also the opportunity to hire and mentor others — with the trust that comes from knowing that your boss has lived your day-to-day.I'm low-ego, but I bring my A game speaking or presenting to audiences small and large. I think on my feet, a skill honed over many years in front of customers. I practice humility. I make mistakes, take feedback, and do it better next time.I grew up in the Chicago suburbs, spent 20 years in tech in the SF Bay Area, and now live in Truckee / Tahoe with a second career in construction.
