James was promoted from assistant store manager to store manager.He learned in this role how to drive sales and transform a team to have a sales orientated mindset. During his training, he was continually within the top 3 department sales on a monthly basis. James was responsible for all team members and stock within both his departments. This included contacting buyers, ordering stock, and transferring products around Australia. He also provided coaching and mentoring to his team to drive a sales culture in department store procedures. He also learned to work effectively under pressure as well as sharing his vision with his team in order to execute visual merchandising and installations of catalog specials on a fortnightly basis.
