As the Managing Senior Partner of the organisation I am responsible for the growth, development and direction of the company as a whole. This includes all global operations from our China, Philippine and African offices.While developing Austen Morris Associates we have implemented systems and practises which focus the company as a client driven operation and culture, the success of the company has been driven by focusing on the needs of our clients and building the company around them. As a Partner I was able to take my role as a financial adviser to the next level by moving into a management role. I continued to provide financial advice to my own personal clients while also recruiting and training a team of experienced financial advisers that would carry my philosophy for financial planning and wealth management to their own personal clients.Whilst managing a successful team of financial advisers I continued to work with my own personal clients with regards to their wealth management needs and working towards the financial ‘needs and wants’ that we identified at the beginning of our relationship. Responsibilities included managing production, financial analysis, forecasting trends, business strategy, maximising accounting efficiency and general business development. In addition I was responsible for recruiting, training and managing a direct staff of 50 employees.
