Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization, including:• Volunteer/staff coordination and training• Volunteer/staff professional development and counseling• Tactical and strategic planning in areas such as fundraising, marketing, and staffing• Organizational development and capacity building• Marketing, public relations, outreach, and coalition building• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements as well as standards of national partners• Collecting and analyzing statistical information• Interfacing with and acting as a liaison between individual staff members and departments• Ensuring volunteer skill sets are used and that volunteers remain interested and engaged• Implementing technology throughout the organization to improve processes• Development and implementation of policies and procedures

The Sheriff's Reserve Unit:- Provides on a voluntary basis personnel to assist the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office in carrying out its responsibilities during national emergencies to protect the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Delaware County.- Provide educational public safety services and programs covering issues of concern for residents of Delaware County.- Develop and assist with projects and activities in cooperation and coordination with governmental and civic bodies for the purpose of promoting the health, safety and welfare of the citizenry, including traffic control, crowd control and security, assisting in missing person/children searches.
