As the IT Associate, I was responsible for the continuous development and maintenance of the companies’ servers, network and technology needs. Additionally I was tasked with the immediate redesign of the companies infrastructure stack. The primary objective was to simplify the end users daily workflow, reorganize resources to improve productivity and safeguard the companies' digital assets against loss.A summary of my responsibilities included:- Providing administration for our servers, network. phone system, computers and peripherals- Providing all levels of troubleshooting and technical support for our end users- Backup and maintain company data, databases, and other digital assets- Install and configure new equipment and decommission old equipment- Establish communication with vendors and maintain service contracts- Manage the disbursement of resources for upcoming tech projects and establish budgets- Develop technical documentation for the end user to learn and navigate company resources- Research solutions and new technologies to keep the company digitally competent

As the companies Technical Support Associate, I was primarily responsible for providing support for the end users computers, phones, peripherals, networking equipment, and access to company resources. I was tasked with documenting technical issues, researching and deploying solutions, and escalating tickets that were out of my scope of knowledge. Lastly I was the assistant to the IT Director and worked closely with him on projects, providing administration to the companies' servers, monitoring server hardware / backups, and maintaining the companies' network resources.A summary of my responsibilities included:- Responding to tickets in our help desk and documenting solutions when the issue was resolved- Setting up and installing equipment as needed by different departments - Researching solutions and new technologies to respond to our companies growing needs- Creating technical documentation for the end user to learn and navigate company resources- Assisting the IT director with the administration of our servers, network and digital assets- Monitoring the server hardware and backups / rotating tapes and troubleshooting incomplete jobs
