As a financial executive I have focused on investing in highly levered middle market companies. My investments have ranged from auto manufacturing to tech-enabled advertising and from special situations to high growth. I have invested in 50 + private equity platform companies with structures spanning asset based loans, enterprise value loans, term B loans and high yield bonds. I have extensive experience using valuation methodologies ranging from liquidation value to discounted cash flow and comparable multiple analysis. I am currently focused on the lower middle market, primarily on privately held companies or companies with their first institutional investment. I source these investments through my network of private equity groups and investment banks as well as partnering internally with local relationship managers. In addition to sourcing deals, I am responsible for leading due diligence, negotiating legal documents and managing ongoing relationships with the institutional investors as well as the company.
