Graduate of Deakin University with a Bachelor of Information Technology, majoring in Cloud Computing. I started my career in the Service Desk, where I picked up many different skills, as one does in this role, all of which culminated in me being awarded the annual Rising Star Award by my peers. An award given to a single employee who:• Has served up to 2 years at the company• Is the most improved• Committed to living the company values• Providing exceptional customer service consistentlyFrom here, I moved up to the NOC team, focusing my attention on the networking side of IT. Here I implemented and managed various backup architecture and storage solutions, monitored endpoints, resolved network outages, and focused all attention to ensure companies have as little downtime as possible with proactive strategies.After successfully managing the NOC team, I was elevated to a brand new role as the SOC Team Lead. Starting the team from scratch, I worked to build new processes, documentation, strategies, software, and hired team members. This culminated in a robust cyber security strategy with variables allowing it to be implemented in various networks of all shapes and sizes based on client needs. I am now accountable for both the team and project management of this solution as we execute it for Australian businesses.
