MER, founded in the mid 1980’s, is a regional family of companies providing industrial cleaning, preparedness and response, facility decontamination, site remediation and other specialty services to energy and industrial, marine, railroad and government clients. During my tenure, MER grew from single location with 20 employees to 10+ locations from Jacksonville to Boston, MA with over 200 employees.• Corporate level key executive leader responsible for strategic planning and analysis, business development, client management, site remediation services, and culture and process improvement initiatives.• Regional executive P&L responsibility for Jacksonville, FL, Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC regional offices from 2007 into 2012, managing 70-90 people.• Developed and led growth of the Florida site remediation service line beginning in 1997 achieving $3-6 million in annual revenues through 2000’s with minimal capital equipment investment.• Recognizing a market opportunity driven by Federal and state regulatory changes, launched a specialized telecommunications industry service program to replace critical power generator fuel systems at over 100 Florida sites, generating over $15 million in incremental contract revenues between 1994 and 1998, with residual annual revenues of $.5-1 million into 2011.
