ELBA is a business-led and business-funded regeneration agency that encourages and facilitates business involvement in the social and economic regeneration of east London. As Programme Manager I help with the strategy, development and activation of a company’s Corporate Social Responsibility agenda in engaging the local community. ELBA assists in the transfer of business skills, experience and resources to community and voluntary projects in East London through a large scale employee volunteering network and works with the same businesses to help local people access jobs.

A role born out of the airport's Section 106 planning agreement with the London Borough of Newham. I was responsible for project design and delivery from inception to implementation. Take off into Work exists to recruit and train unemployed local residents in airport-specific employability skills leading to a work placement and a guaranteed job interview. A key element of the scheme's development was the engagement and relationship management of 50 on site employers. To date over 500 people have secured work through the programme.

Responsible for delivering 'Stratford Works', the London Borough of Newham's highest performing NRF funded employment project. The role included procuring and managing SIA and CSCS training for workers accessing roles on the Olympic Park and Westfield development sites.
