James Becker, P.E. is licensed in both Mechanical and Fire Protection Engineering in Ca. with over 35 years of project and construction management experience. His comprehensive experience in the construction industry includes: project and facility planning, construction and project management, design review, value engineering, scheduling, construction estimating, claims analysis, and building commissioning. He received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the California State University at Sacramento. His qualifications include many professional licenses and certificates including certification as a Certified Commissioning Provider and LEED Accredited Professional. Focusing on total building commissioning for the last 22 years, James has provided commissioning services and managed commissioning teams on a variety of projects including supervising the commissioning process on nearly $1 billion worth of construction work for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command in Italy. Over his career, James has successfully participated on projects for K-12 school districts, hospitals, community colleges, public utilities, and county, state and federal government facilities programs.
