Jim Dickson is a highly experienced Florida business attorney practicing with the national Firm of Adams and Reese LLP in its Tampa Bay office. His practice focuses on business issues in the construction, real estate development, finance and manufacturing industries. He often refers to himself as a “dirt problem lawyer” due to his long experience in construction and environmental law. He prides himself on assisting clients on anticipating, avoiding and solving problems. Jim is Board Certified in Construction Law by the Florida Bar and he serves as an Adjunct Professor at Stetson Law School where he teaches a course in the Environmental Hazards of Real Property. He further represents clients in matters concerning land use, title, commercial litigation and general business and corporate transactions. He also has a strong commitment to community service. He serves as General Counsel and member of the Executive Committee of the St Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as a long time pro bono volunteer, Board Member and President of the Community Law Program, a local legal aid organization.
