Responsible for the management and maintenance of MUSC parking facilities which include, eight (8) multi-level garages and forty five (45) surface parking lots totaling over 2,000,000 sf of parking surface. Plan and develop an annual budget, identifies maintenance needs, assigns work orders and manages trade workers ensuring work is done in a timely and professional manner.Solicit quotes for all repairs exceeding $10,000. Coordinate with Procurement to generate bid documents. Serve as Project Manager/Stakeholder for all work performed by external contractors in the parking garages and lots, including capital projects. Coordinate with University and Hospital departments to ensure all work is being carried out to minimize impact on campus wide operations.Responsible for all department equipment. Address issues relating to equipment and software for 50 Parking Management employees. Coordinate all telecommunication installations within the department. Oversee 80 video cameras within the OPM system. Coordinate and investigate incidents within garages and lots with Risk Management and Public Safety.Oversight of MUSC Real-Time Parking Management and Access System. Develop and train staff on use and repairs. Make repairs as needed to maintain optimal operation of the system.Oversee, manage and maintain a fleet of vehicles (trucks, cars and golf carts) used by the Office of Parking management.

Oversee all facilities functions to include routine maintenance, facilities upgrade and improvements.Create maintenance and parts department for new form, fill and seal system. Establish preventive maintenance schedule per manufacturers specifications. Identify and purchase parts as needed.

Brought on board to help the final installation, start up and commissioning of a high speed automated form, fill and seal packaging system. Hire operators and maintenance staff. Create standard operating, maintenance and safety procedures for each machine as well as the procedures for the track mobile and rail line supporting the packaging system.

Responsible for insuring that all Daydreamer Concepts facilities are running optimally and safely. This includes the production facility, warehouses and retail operations. Plan and develop Environmental Health & Safety strategies and standards that meet OSHA and DHEC guideline and regulations. Plan and develop Quality Assurance strategies and standards to meet the demands of the company and our customers. QA standards to follow ISO 9000 format.Oversee facilities maintenance and direct the daily responsibilities of the Facilities Operations team. Clear roadblocks and obstacles for the smooth operational success and efficiency of the Production team. Specify, procure and install production equipment required to support the Production team. Train the Production and Maintenance team in the safe operation and upkeep of equipment. Create an organized workspace using 5S concepts.Plan for future company expansion including property visits, lease negotiation, contractor management, equipment procurement and coordination of a fluid transition to a new facility.
