Working within MetLife's Global Technolgy & Operations organisation, reporting to VP Head of Marketing TechnologyHead of Business Transformation (EMEA), Global Marketing Technology:Head of Marketing Technology (MarTech) Innovation- Provide leadership over the marketing technology platform roadmap for the region, driving adoption of the capabilities and improving consumer engagement to maintain MetLife’s competitive advantage across local market distribution channels- Align regional and local market business strategy with the available technology capabilities- Manage overall regional marketing platform and technology change- Manage talent development internally within team as well as for adoption and onboarding of new skills for regional users- Influence stakeholders at varying levels up to and including board level executives - Lead marketing technology innovation function, identifying credible opportunities linked with commercial objectives and manage delivery of functional pilots through a combination of internal and third party vendors

Working within MetLife’s Global Brand & Marketing as part of the Platforms & Implementation team I act as one of three senior team members reporting to the VP, Head of Global Digital Platforms & Implementation. I have regional responsibilities and work with a wide range of stakeholders of varying levels of seniority up to and including board level. Responsibilities:- Marketing platform implementation for markets within EMEA / ASIA regions (30+ markets)- Liaising with regional Chief Marketing Officers, digital/e-business representatives on regional strategy for digital marketing and coordinating programme management of key initiatives - Liaising with local marketing teams on strategic projects- Business platform owner for marketing platforms (Web content management / CRM) defining strategic direction and co-ordinating with stakeholders around delivery of new capabilities based on market need and industry / technology trends- Oversight of BAU digital marketing support for Global markets (excludes US) including definition of operational practices

- Project manager for platform enhancements on existing web content management platform- Program manager for roll out of website deployments covering 19 languages- Managed vendor relationship with content management vendor- Instigated and managed an agile team delivering a $2m project to successful pilot - instigated end-to-end automation of build, automated testing, and deployment for multiple markets

Original role was in Global Marketing at Alico and become part of the International Marketing group following the company purchase by MetLife. Role included project/vendor management, architecture, research and development and non-BAU change. Responsible for continuing technical architecture of MetLife's international web platform and associated customer facing cross-channel technologies.As part of my work on MetLife's international web presence I worked in a small team responsible for the deployment of a brand compliant, CMS based website to over 40+ international markets.Focus was on delivering next generation needs analysis for the customer as well as driving international strategy around customer facing mobile applications (web/native) for MetLife.

Worked for Egg as a middleware developer on their online banking platform developing and architecting solutions as well as mentoring others.At Dunnhumby I worked as a consultant on their ETL configuration for loading Tesco clubcard data into their datamart. I worked to assess and advise on choices for their ETL toolset and develop the solution architecture.
