I am a seasoned professional with a proven track record in clinical trial management, research administration, and scientific engagement dedicated to advancing healthcare. In my role, I am the Orthopaedic Research Manager working in the NHS GGC Glasgow Royal Infirmary’s Department of Trauma and Orthopaedics and The University of Glasgow. I manage a work programme spanning all orthopaedic subspecialties and encompassing research development, managing sponsored and hosted clinical trials through their entire lifecycle, developing basic research programmes, assisting in local audits, data analysis and presentation and scientific writing/publication. In a previous role as Executive Assistant, I assisted in managing a research facility, managed the finances of projects and the facility, and supported the delivery of funding calls. While working as a Research Associate at the University of Strathclyde, I researched immune modulation, publishing impactful manuscripts and spearheading public engagement initiatives.
